This inequity can be attributed to cultural and social norms, socio-economic barriers and the absence or poor implementation of policies emphasizing inclusivity. This has serious implications for Somalia\u2019s sustainable and equitable development. Inclusive education ensures that everyone can participate in education, employment and economic opportunities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Our IDP Project<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We at Green Hope believe that IDP\u2019s are the &nbsp;most underprivileged and disadvantaged &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;people who need emergency relief, rehabilitation &nbsp;and safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Local organisations like Green Hope working in Somalia have limited funding and need support for education, shelter, food and medical supplies to reach out IDP\u2019s sites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We did a rapid field assessment to evaluate the living \u00a0conditions in Afgoye and Mogadisho IDP\u2019s camps. We have selected 20 families based on our criteria, and provided \u00a0food and non-food items to each family. The Green Hope package delivered to these families included: 25 Kg of rice, 25Kg of flour, 2L of cooking oil, milk powder of 2.5Kg can, plastic shelter, mosquito nets to prevent malaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Our <strong><u>Qurban<\/u><\/strong> Project<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Green Hope with the help of its partners implemented sustainable Udhiya Qurban program since 2011. During these occasions, we distributed meat in three days of Eid to poor families, \u00a0Internal Displaced Persons, and the disabled,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beneficiaries: \u00a0We distribute in Baydaba, Buur-Hakaba and Awdegle district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every year benefit this Qurban between 180 to 200 needy poor families in these areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Green Hope promises to work more in  implementing this project with its  partners to help the suffering communities affected by conflict, droughts and floods.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">The Ramedan Project<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ramadan Project aims to provide relief food packages and share joy and happiness during &nbsp;Ramadan. The Ramadan meals are shared &nbsp;with deprived and under privileged people in Mogadishu, Baydaba, Buur-Hakaba districts. .The Ramadan project starts at first day of &nbsp;Ramadan ends on the 30 day of Ramadan every year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Target group and beneficiaries<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Green Hope focuses the neediest people of the target area and plans to provide Ramadan food packages with the help of the perspective donors. During \u00a0Ramadan nutritious food \u00a0packages are distributed to \u00a0200 poor and vulnerable families. The food package includes rice, flour, oil and dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">Improve Household Food Security<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The dramatic levels of undernourishment and malnutrition which result are testimony to the food insecurity in Horn of Africa. In Somalia rural areas, where most of the population depend solely on agriculture but only have success to small, low-yield family farms.&nbsp; 20% of these farmers plow &nbsp;less than one hectare farmland and grow maize which is &nbsp;is the primary grain in the region.
